My Personal Favourites 2012 - Street…
Ansel Adams once wrote that if you succeed in producing 12 good images a year you were doing okay. So, being as it’s the end of 2012 I’ve been looking through my archive and deciding which of the 1000’s of images I’ve made during the course of the year are my personal favourites. From the shortlist I’ve selected nine images, which fit into three genre’s: architecture, street and landscape.
Here is the STREET group… I hope you enjoy them. They’ve both featured on Tumblr at some time during the year.
I’m interested to see which group gets the most hearts. Click here for —-> ARCHITECTURE
Landscape will feature before the end of the year.

A Wonderful Article About Street Photography and Urban Exploration
I especially love how the author described what he feels during his urban photographic exploits; poetic, musical and seems to astoundingly express exactly what goes through me in my own personal journeys through the urban jungle.
The article also opened my eyes for the first time to what really is this that I’m trying to do. I’m a street photographer, yes, but I’m inclined more towards urban photography and exploration than people photography. The article is helping to bring light and direction to my photography, which hasn’t quite found an identity yet ever since I started. I believe that now, I’ve found my niche.
Read the article. It’s a joy especially if you’re like me who’s currently undergoing a photographic identity crisis.
